Wat Khao Or has more than 120 years of history making highly efficacious Amulets. The majority of worshippers consider that the amulets are imbued with protective powers.

Many holy monks are associated with this temple, including LP Tow, LP Ied, LP Num, LP Ngurn of Wat DaunSaLa, LP Kong of Wat BanSuan, LP Pah, LP Glun of Wat Khao Or and probably the best known of all is Ajahn Khun Pan.

Lunag Phor Glun was the abbot of Wat Khao Or until he passed away in April 2006 at the grand old age of 108 years. Ajahn Khun Pan passed away in July of the same year.

This amulet was consecrated at three separate ceremonies starting in December 2001 at Wat Khao Or. The amulet has been blessed by LP Glun, Arjahn Khun Pan, Ajahn ChunTip, Arjahn PraChuap and 8 other Buddhist Guru Monks. A splendid ceremony held whilst the sun was encircled by a halo.

The second ceremony was held on the 9 May 2002 at Wat Phra Maha That Worawihan, Nakhorn Seethammaraj province, by many southern kejis. At the third and final ceremony, held in may 2002 the amulet was blessed in ChudTun cave of Wat Khao Or by many Guru Monks of the temple.

This Buddhist amulet was made from many holy constituents and powders, including three solid takruts on the front made from silver, bronze and gold. This amulet is thought to bring the worshipper good luck, fortune and protection from danger.
